“History of Todd Wenzel Chevrolet In June 2004, Wenzel purchased Todd Wenzel Chevrolet, in Hudsonville, from previous owner Serra Chevrolet. Three years later, he began expanding the store by adding a new Used Vehicle building and new state-of-the-art body shop. Located in the used vehicle lot, customers have a view of the entire selection of certified and pre-owned vehicles. The previous building was remodeled into a body shop customer waiting area with a full service body shop in the rear.

In June 2009, Todd Wenzel Chevrolet was selected as a preferred dealer to represent the New GM. “We are excited for GM’s future and the future of Todd Wenzel Chevrolet, said Wenzel. We look forward to providing continued world class service to all our customers and the West Michigan community.”

Today, Todd Wenzel Chevrolet offers customers a large selection of new and used vehicles, parts/service department and a full service state-of-the-art body shop.

Todd Wenzel grew up locally in Wyoming, MI. After finishing high school, Wenzel went to work for a local dealer and quickly rose to the position of Finance Director. It was during this time that he had set his sights on operating his own dealership.

GM was instrumental in placing Wenzel in Portland, Maine where he went on to purchase a Chevy dealership. Under his leadership, the dealership took a drastic turn around and became New England¹s largest volume GM dealership. He started a successful used vehicle franchise and also purchased a Chevrolet Olds Cadillac dealership in Connecticut. Both dealerships were thriving but one thing was missing; living and doing business in West Michigan.

In 2001, Todd Wenzel purchased Todd Wenzel Buick Pontiac GMC on 28th Street and just four short years later, he purchased Todd Wenzel Chevrolet in Hudsonville. “When I moved back to West Michigan eight years ago, I knew one thing was certain; I would have a top ranking GM dealership in this community by keeping my customers at the forefront,” said Wenzel.
