Woodward Dream Cruise: Detroit Pistons Organization Brings the Palace Patrol and Automotion Dancers to Visitors

DETROIT, M.I. – Woodward Dream Cruise may bring hundreds of thousands of visitors every year to the event; and with plenty of activities for fans to enjoy, there are many organizations that join the crowd.  With classic cars, live music and other activities, the Woodward Dream Cruise has many sections set up with different booths.

The Detroit Pistons organization decided to fire up the Pistons fun for visitors to the Cruise. The Palace Patrol and the Automotion Dance Team both left the court and traveled to the Woodward Dream Cruise for a day of interaction and energy.

The Automotion Dance Team met with fans on Saturday, Aug. 20, signed autographs and took pictures while joining the Metro Detroit Buick GMC Dealers Association at Athens Coney Island.

“We were thrilled to have the Detroit Pistons organization visit our setup at the Athens Coney Island. They really helped energize the crowd and draw in even more people to see the classic and brand new lineup of Buick and GMC vehicles we featured,” said John Cooper Buick/GMC vice president to Pistons.com.

Many fans stopped by the booth to pose and take photos while talking with members of the Automotion Dance Team about the event.

The Palace Patrol also appeared at Pioneer Park where WOMC 104.3 hosted the Family Fun Zone, which was filled with games, music and basketball. The Patrol was also mingling with fans and selling tickets to future Pistons games.

The Woodward Dream Cruise was a success for meeting and enjoying the company of many car fans from all over the country. Specials appearances like that of the Automotion Dance Team was just another special piece of the yearly event.
