Woodward Dream Cruise: Pistons Leaving the Court for the Avenue

The Woodward Dream Cruise has innumerable pistons firing, and that’s a given, but MI Auto Times has learned the Detroit Pistons organization will be participating in the fun. People will be able to meet and greet the newly announced 2011-12 Automation Dance Team as well as play games to win prizes.
Here’s where you can find them:
When: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20
Where: WOMC Family Fun Zone at Pioneer Park on the corner of Woodward and Normandy
What: Interactive games including a Shoe Hoop where kids can try to win a Penthouse Suite birthday party at a Pistons’ basketball game at The Palace of Auburn Hills; appearances by the Pistons Palace Patrol; information about 2011-12 season tickets

When: 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday Aug. 20
Where: Joining the Metro Detroit Buick GMC dealers at Athens Coney Island, 32657 Woodward Ave.
What: The Automation Dance Team will meet with fans, sign autographs and take pictures
